Cacao, cups and curiosity...

Experience is a powerful teacher and I have been deeply blessed to have many layers shown to me in this lifetime. From moving every two years during my childhood to losing my mother at just seventeen, and now a mother with two extraordinary daughters. Each chapter has shaped the woman I am and the abundant life I have to share with others.

My first Cacao Ceremony happened on a beautiful sunny afternoon, a womans gathering where we came to be in ceremony, for the land, for each other, for the divine feminine and for Mumma Cacao. It unraveled me like never before, it blew my heart open and unlocked something deep within me. Since then my path was led by curiosity and guided me towards the unseen realms, shamanic wisdom and an ancient remembrance.

I never thought facilitating ceremony was something that was for me but just like the saying 'when the student is ready the teacher will appear'.. my teacher appeared!

My teacher appeared as a tall, blond, beautiful woman called Jemmita. Jem has been on her spiritual path for over 20 years and after walking the sacred shamanic path as a Medicine Woman, Healer and Ceremonialist she was Initiated into the sacred ancestral medicines by her maestros in the Andes of Peru and adopted into their lineage in 2012.

After apprenticing with Jem (twice) I found the courage to share what I had learned (and am still learning) with others, for which I am deeply grateful to be a steward of this medicine and to share it in this way. If you find yourself at my home for ceremony, you will be met with a much loved collection of Japanese stackable mugs which are the first thing I look for when second hand shopping.

Further to the ever evolving un-layering of myself, I found the tool of breath work. And not just your clinical, 'wim hoff', sciency breath but a shamanic way of journeying, much like my cacao ceremonies. Spiritus Breathwork blends a deep shamanic journey with the power of breath to help you release emotional stagnation, open your creative centres, process unconscious events and open you up to a difference in your being.

For over two years now I have been guiding people in ceremony and am blessed to be able hold people in vulnerable moments and witness clarity, confirmation, remembrance and a spaciousness of their inner landscape.
